A graduate of University College Galway, and NUI Maynooth, B Comm, H.Dip Ec.Sc., Jacqui studied acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland, and graduated with distinction in July 2006. She travelled to China and undertook post graduate training at the Nanjing University International Acupuncture Training Centre and clinical work at Nanjing Municipal Hospital - one of China's most prestigious acupuncture hospitals.

Jacqui qualified as a Reflexologist in 2002 and holds diplomas in Body Massage, Anatomy Physiology and Indian Head Massage. She owned and operated ACU-Reflex clinic in Dublin, Ireland and now ACU Rooms in Columbia, MD. Jacqui also worked as a clinical supervisor at the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland for 6 years. With 15+ years of experience, Jacqui has treated patients for a wide range of conditions.

As a registered member of both the Acupuncture Council of Ireland and the Maryland Acupuncture Society, patients can be assured of receiving professional and ethical treatments.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of treatment used in both traditional and classical Chinese medicine. Acupuncture is based on the principle that there are energy pathways/channels throughout the body that influence associated internal organs structures. Very fine needles are inserted at selected points, thereby activating the body's natural healing abilities.
